As I said to Danielle the receptionist when I was leaving, this is the nicest dental office I have ever been to. The staff is friendly and respectful. Your dental hygienist is the best. I moved my account to Mauldin Square last February from Simpsonville Family Dentistry with whom I had been a patient for over 40 years (previously owned by Dr. Eric Thiess and now owned by Dr Gary Holtzclaw). I was very disappointed to learn that Dr. Hillman left just after my 2023 February appointment. I am now told that you have two dentists seeing patients at the Mauldin office, one of whom I talked to this morning. I assume Dr. Hillman owned this practice and is now in Powdersville. This does not set well with me as I have the feeling that the practice may close because of the fact that you use "visiting "dentists. I am ery uncomfortable with this along with the fact that nobody was in the waiting room this morning except me. I need assurance that you will continue to be in Mauldin and that at some point a permanent dentist will be there. I hope you will take this as a concern and not a criticism Ernest E. " Jack" Barrett

5 stars is not enough. Typically terrified of the dentist and avoid them completely. Due to numerous bad experiences. What a change. This office is cozy and very clean. Dr. Chris Hillman is amazing and his assistant Cheryl was awesome as well. I felt very welcomed and relaxed. Dr. Hillman eased my nerves and made sure I was fully numb and didn't feel a thing during my procedure as I am very sensitive to pain in my mouth ( broken molar that needed to be rebuilt and crowned) the temporary fit was perfect and the new crown was a perfect fit and size and color. They both made my experience a great one and cared how I was feeling during the entire process. I am now willing to go back and get all the work needed to get my mouth healthy and on track. Danielle at the front office is friendly and makes you feel comfortable and that you should never feel bad about the condition of your teeth they don't shame and just wish to help. I would recommend this office to anyone looking for a caring and comfortable experience. Dr. Hillman (I now call him Dr. Numb)lol lol is an excellent dentist and very nice to look at.

I had not been to a dentist in about 5yrs. I was nervous as all get out. This dental experience was a game changer. All of the staff were absolutely amazing. From the minute you walk through the door, you are greeted and welcomed so kindly by Kate. My dental hygienist, Danielle, was amazing and so understanding. Dr. Sonia Kakkar was so reassuring and understanding as well. She went over my options and explained everything to me in lamest terms. The prices are reasonable. The lobby and exam rooms are clean. They have so wonderful to me ! I definitely was pleased in my dental experience today. It has been almost 7 years since I had any dental work done. Not only they took time in care for my teeth, but they were also being considerate when it came to a treatment plan that needed to be for my teeth. Had to have an emergency removal of a tooth. They called me to help move my appt up last minute and were super kind about getting me in asap. The doctor was very nice and told me all my options clearly. The tooth needed pulled and he made sure that I was thoroughly numb and checked 3 times before he even started pulling. The staff in general were super helpful and I will be going back.

Walked in off the street with a throbbing toothache and a Medicare card, and I was treated like royalty. I was immediately put at ease, and I received care from a thoroughly competent, professional, and caring Dentist. It was a blessing. I cannot give this Dental facility high enough praise to express my sincere appreciation, other than to say... Mauldin Square Dental and Doctor Kakkar have my highest recommendation.
